As a Vice President of Construction at Monument Realty, Anthony oversees the construction and pre-development of several projects at Monument Realty, including a residential and commercial project in Chinatown, The Shaw condominiums, and the condominiums on V Street in Washington, DC. His responsibilities include managing the day-to-day activities required for the design, permitting, construction, and sale/lease of these high-quality real estate construction projects.

Angie Mayle has been with Monument Realty since 1999 and is the head of our accounting department, overseeing all accounting functions from the daily operations to the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and filings. One of the company’s longest serving employees, Angie has been involved in the accounting for every project in our portfolio. Additionally, she handles human resources and related items such as payroll and insurance.

Vice President of Leasing

Bethany Allen is the vice president of leasing for Monument Realty. Since joining the Monument team in 2005, she has been responsible for the leasing of Monument Realty’s commercial office portfolio and creating new commercial business opportunities throughout metropolitan Washington, DC.

An 18-year veteran in the industry, Bethany has been very active as a leader in the Washington, DC Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Ballston BID and Ballston Gives, of which she’s a founding board member. Along with her many leadership roles in the industry, she’s also received numerous awards, including the GWCAR Top Developer Agents Award multiple times and CoStar's Power Broker Award in 2006.

Chelsea has an extensive background in retail and brings her customer service-oriented experience to every task that comes across her desk at Monument Realty. Colleen Kittell serves as the vice president of marketing for Monument Realty. She is responsible for the corporate and property marketing for Monument Realty’s portfolio throughout the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC markets.

Prior to joining Monument Realty, Colleen worked for both corporate in-house and marketing agency environments across the country. Her real estate industry experience includes Bozzuto, BRE Properties, Inc., and Related Companies. For Monument Realty, Colleen brings notable expertise in creating holistic, results-driven strategic marketing programs that encompass brand development, customer segmentation, media planning and analysis, and digital and social media campaigns.

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Arts from Georgetown University.

Daniel Curtin

As a chief engineer, Dan Curtin is responsible for the operation and maintenance of two suburban Class A office buildings located in Rockville, Maryland, totaling approximately 320,000 square feet. Dan oversees plant maintenance and operations activities, while also supporting renovations. Dan works closely with Monument’s property management team to assist with cost savings procedures and formation of budgets and reports.

Danny Brooker leads the efforts to build Monument Retail’s Urban Retail Acquisition Plan portfolio, purchasing retail assets throughout different sub-markets of Washington, DC. He also represents private clients in the acquisition and disposition of single tenant net lease property throughout the country.

Devin Keenan is the director of property management for Monument Realty’s office and residential assets in Washington, DC and Maryland. Managing a portfolio comprised of 1 million SF, he ensures all ownership goals are achieved with regard to financial performance, capital improvement, leasing, and tenant satisfaction.

In addition to his role at Monument Realty, Devin is on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)—Chapter 8 as the director of communications.

Devin holds a Real Property Administrator (RPA®) Designation from the Building and Office Management Institute (BOMI), as well as a Salesperson License from the DC Real Estate Commission. Additionally, he is a LEED Green Associate and Certified Property Management (CPM) Candidate. Devin received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Miami University.

Sam Hott has been in the industry since 1981 and joined Monument Realty in 2005. As engineering manager, he oversees all building engineers as well as third-party engineering contracts. Sam is also involved in tenant build-outs and works closely with construction managers on new projects to review plans for any work or alterations made to the buildings.

Sam is a designated Washington, DC 3rd-Class Stationary Steam Engineer.

Kathryn serves as a property manager for Monument Realty and currently oversees three Class A office buildings—the two buildings of Executive Plaza in Maryland and 100 M Street SE in Washington, DC. As part of her duties, she ensures all ownership goals are achieved, including financial performance, capital improvements, leasing, and tenant satisfaction.

In addition to lending Monument Realty her expertise, Kathryn is the IYP Committee Chair of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Chapter 77, Northern Virginia.

Kevin McCormick

Construction Manager

Kevin McCormick works with Monument Realty’s construction management team to oversee the construction process of Monument’s commercial and residential developments, from the initial design process through the sale or leasing of the building. Kevin works closely with Monument’s development and acquisitions teams, as well as architects and contractors in order to assist in the design process and budget development. Kevin’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing the budget, design, construction schedule and permitting process for each development.

Kirk Salpini has been with Monument Realty since 1998 and has played an instrumental role in our success. As senior vice president, Kirk directs all aspects of the development process, including feasibility, entitlement, design, construction, financing, investor relations, marketing, leasing, management, and disposition on commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family residential projects in the Washington, DC region.

Prior to Monument Realty, Kirk worked at Akridge Companies, Savage Fogarty Real Estate, and Western Development Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University and an MBA from George Mason University.

As a marketing coordinator, Leigh Ann works closely with Monument’s vice president of marketing to support and create the brand development of all new properties, as well as maintain brand standards for current assets. Leigh Ann helps to manage email marketing campaigns, social media strategy, website development and event planning in an effort to support retail, commercial and residential sales and leasing goals. 

Leigh Ann also focuses on marketing initiatives for Oz Restaurant & Bar, an extension of Monument’s hospitality portfolio. She works closely with the management at Oz to drive traffic and sales at the restaurant through on-site activations and digital outreach. Leigh Ann helps to coordinate menu development, social media and digital curation, media placement, and event planning.

A graduate of American University, Leigh Ann has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, with a minor in Marketing.

Mark Pratt has been in the industry since 1979, joining Monument Realty in 2005 after broad experience with many companies in construction and engineering in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. Mark's responsibilities as the chief engineer include engineering and building operations, building owner punch-out inspections, as well as commissioning, starting up, and managing on-site construction. With his team, he also coordinates base building renovations, improvements, repairs, and special projects.

Natalie Hasny has served as director of sales for Monument Realty since 2004, managing and executing the sales of more than 1,100 residential transactions totaling over $500 million. As a licensed associate broker in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, as well as a licensed salesperson in Florida, Natalie is well versed in the operations of the real estate market. Her years in the service industry have provided her a great understanding of the intricacies of making deals and the mechanics of building relationships.

Natalie's extensive network of contacts in the real estate industry and related services enable her to bring the highest level of comprehensive real estate services to clients. Development Manager

Yovi Sever serves as Monument Realty’s in-house residential specialist, consulting and providing support to the project management team. As development manager, Yovi assists with analysis of market conditions, recent and future market trends, and interior design trends. He manages interior design finish specifications, unit layout and design, project unit pricing for both for-rent and condo sales. Yovi has played an instrumental role in many Monument Realty residential projects and currently serves as project manager for the full-entitlement conversion of the former Montgomery Village Golf Club into a large single-family residential development.

Yovi has an Associate Arts degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade Community College and attended Florida International University, with a focus on Business Administration.
