Angela Mayle (Angie)

Angie Mayle has been with Monument Realty since 1999 and is the head of our accounting department, overseeing all accounting functions from the daily operations to the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and filings. One of the company’s longest-serving employees, Angie has been involved in the accounting for every project in our portfolio. Additionally, she handles human resources and related items such as payroll and insurance.

As a senior vice president of construction at Monument Realty, Anthony oversees the construction and pre-development of several projects at Monument Realty, including residential and commercial projects in Washington, DC. His responsibilities include managing the day-to-day activities required for the design, permitting, construction, and sale/lease of Monument's high-quality real estate construction projects.

Anthony’s industry memberships and affiliations include the Washington Building Congress (WBC) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). He is LEED certified and also has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University.

AJ Luce brings nearly two decades of experience, local knowledge, and connections to Monument Realty. As the Vice President of Development, AJ's day-to-day involves sourcing and executing real estate developments through the entire deal cycle. Since starting at Monument Realty, AJ has been heavily involved with The Shaw, Riverside Square, V Street, 900 Fleet Street, among various other projects. Simultaneously, AJ has been pursuing several other promising ventures.

AJ earned his Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and is an active member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and Washington D.C.’s Real Estate Group.

Danny Brooker leads the efforts to build Monument Retail’s Urban Retail Acquisition Plan portfolio, purchasing retail assets throughout different sub-markets of Washington, DC. He also represents private clients in the acquisition and disposition of single tenant net lease property throughout the country.

Edmund Hott

Edmund Hott (Sam)

Engineering Manager

Sam Hott has been in the industry since 1981 and joined Monument Realty in 2005. As engineering manager, he oversees all building engineers as well as third-party engineering contracts. Sam is also involved in tenant build-outs and works closely with construction managers on new projects to review plans for any work or alterations made to the buildings.

Sam is a designated Washington, DC 3rd-Class Stationary Steam Engineer.

Kenneth (Ken) Meile

Kevin McCormick

Senior Construction Manager

As a Construction Manager, Kevin oversee the construction process of Monument’s commercial and residential developments, from the initial design process through the sale or leasing of the building. Kevin works closely with Monument’s development and acquisitions teams, as well as architects and contractors in order to assist in the design process and budget development. Kevin’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing the budget, design, construction schedule, and permitting process for each development.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Lewis Kelley

Acquisitions Associate

Lewis Kelley works with Monument Realty’s acquisitions team to source and execute real estate developments and acquisitions through the entire deal cycle. Lewis focuses on financial analysis and underwriting, as well as conducting market research to determine the feasibility of potential deals. Throughout his time at Monument, he has worked on several projects, including Riverside Square, 900 Fleet Street, and a number of Class-A commercial office properties.

Lewis has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

As the chief engineer at Monument Realty, Mark's responsibilities include the engineering and building operations, building owner punch-out inspections, and the commissioning, starting up, and managing of on-site construction. With his team, he also coordinates base building renovations, improvements, repairs, and special projects. Mark brings broad experience in construction and engineering to his role as chief engineer.

Natalie Hasney

Natalie Hasny

Director of Sales, Associate Broker

Natalie Hasny has served as director of sales for Monument Realty since 2004, managing and executing the sales of more than 1,100 residential transactions totaling over $500 million. As a licensed associate broker in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, as well as a licensed salesperson in Florida, Natalie is well versed in the operations of the real estate market. Her years in the service industry have provided her a great understanding of the intricacies of making deals and the mechanics of building relationships.

Natalie's extensive network of contacts in the real estate industry and related services enable her to bring the highest level of comprehensive real estate services to clients. Properties she has successfully sold at Monument Realty include The Watergate, The Odyssey, Chase at Bethesda, and Potomac Place.

As a member of Monument’s retail division, Rich Sillery works to expand Monument’s Urban Retail Acquisition Plan portfolio through acquisitions, leasing, and private client investment sales representation. With extensive knowledge and experience in guiding clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and 1031 exchanges, Rich assists in identifying potential opportunities, underwriting and closing on retail assets in targeted markets throughout Washington, DC.

Robin Spear

Director of Property Management

Robin Spear brings nearly two decades of property management experience to her role at Monument Realty. As Director of Property Management, Robin oversees Monument Realty’s diverse portfolio of office and retail properties to ensure the integrity and value of each asset is in accordance with Monument Realty’s values and standards. She directly oversees the day-to-day operations of the portfolio while monitoring the financial health and performance of each asset.

Robin holds an RPA® designation from the Building and Office Management Institute (BOMI) and is LEED-certified for Building Operations and Maintenance (LEED AP O+M). Robin received her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University.

Robin Spear

Ryan Kim

Development Manager

As a development manager at Monument Realty, Ryan is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the development projects, managing through the entire development lifecycle, including entitlement, design, construction, lease-up/stabilization, and capitalization. Ryan works closely with Monument Realty’s in-house acquisitions, construction and leasing teams, and third-party design consultants, contractors, and local municipalities to expand Monument Realty’s portfolio in the Washington, DC market. He brings experience in real estate development, construction management, asset management, and civil engineering to his role.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is the treasurer of the school’s DC alumni group.
